Memory Verses Mini Album

Just finished this hand-crafted project that has the combined features of scripture memory verses and a photo mini album.  Titled "You're on my mind and in my heart."
Made from 5 toilet paper rolls and manila shipping tags, each page is beautifully covered with Anna Griffin card stock from the Carolina Collection.  The album measures out at 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" with the tags.
The use of vintage lace and buttons, embellishments, dimensional stickers, a hand-made jeweled stick pin and fabric flower add a lovely English Garden Shabby Chic style to this album.

The front of each five tags are covered with the Anna Griffin paper and topped with scripture.  The backs are finished with journal areas and hand-stamped using Anna Griffin rubber stamps.

A generous amount of ribbons and fibers are used on the 1" binding ring.

Sure hope you enjoyed this little photo album as much as I did making it.  I am planning to make a few more of these Scripture Memory Verse Mini Album and will make them available at

I Just Love Lace!

Couldn't help myself, had to post this as I am so excited about this exquisite lace and wanted to share it with my blog friends.
I put together a special "Exquisite Lace Starter Package" containing 3 yards of each lace pattern for a total of nine yards.  Lace colors are antique white, white, and ecru.

It is just beautiful.  I was able to buy large spools of it as I am planning to die it and use it for crafting projects.  Wanted to also be able to offer this wonderful find with my fellow crafting friends.  It is available, while supplies last, on my etsy store site.

Have a blessed day.

Vintage Postcards

I received recently a small bundle of vintage postcards dated between 1902 and 1914.  My plans are to share them with you throughout the year, depending on their occasion.

These two are Valentines postcards made in Germany.

You'll notice the lovely sentiment from the sender to place the postage stamp upside down, indicating affection.

Not sure yet what I am going to do with all of these vintage postcards, but I am glad that I can share them with you.

A Tribute To My Sister

Just finished this multi-pocketed mini album for my sister.  I've already had so many wonderful comments posted on my YouTube channel about it.  Mostly, "how it touched them" and "made them want to do one for their sister" as well.  My comment back to so, as there is no time like the present to let those you love, know it.

This album has so much in it.  Items I know my sister likes.  It is a little treasure trove of goodies.

It starts with a reflection on our early childhood days together.  Hand-made flower are used throughout the book.  I tried to make this album more hand-crafted and very personal.

Made custom little booklets to hold pictures of my sister and I trimming the grapevines.  Used buttons from my mothers button box throughout the album as well.

Each page has a word that expresses my thoughts about my sister.

This half-page was dedicated to our mother.  She is a Woman Of Faith and has been a steady Christian influence in our lives.

This page had a special transparency pocket trimmed with Prima lace.  It held one of my "little mini" Proverbs 31 books titled The Wife of Noble Character.  Trimmed with Prima pearls, hand-crafted fabric flower, a cross charm, fibers and ribbons, sweetly embellished this booklet.

It's A Sister Thing was a poem I found that seemed very fitting to give to my sister.  It was tucked inside one of the side pockets of this album. The little card opens up to reveal the poem and is decorated with pearls, fibers, and a very pretty hair pin.

You can see more on how I made this album on my YouTube channel below.  Chipboard material is used for the cover and back.  The pages inside are made from 6" x 9" envelopes are trimmed to create clever pocket pages and fold over pages.  The overall album size is 6" x 6".

Since I've had so many wonderful comments about my Proverbs 31 "little mini" booklet, titled The Wife Of Nobel Character, I thought I would give you a sneak peek at it since these hand-crafted books will be going up on my etsy store shortly.  Enjoy!

Have a blessed day and please leave me a comment if you have time.  Blessings, Valerie
