I had a wonderful opportunity to be a guest designer for the Crafty Me Shop on Facebook. There is a video at my YouTube channel that shows all the gorgeous French laces and trims that were sent to me to make what ever I wanted.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-_jrZZtmusM1M5VW-ZWJKZNmsHKTNVJQ6mE6WEptcl8RJls2ynxa3jKArBDkuevhnHoZGnpyzT4pr24ES6VqEF4MI__PMVjImHpKyesBRyqfE_LBsCOAhIt3a7Mh_xHCA6vA5TgkrAEfy/s1600/gdt1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-_jrZZtmusM1M5VW-ZWJKZNmsHKTNVJQ6mE6WEptcl8RJls2ynxa3jKArBDkuevhnHoZGnpyzT4pr24ES6VqEF4MI__PMVjImHpKyesBRyqfE_LBsCOAhIt3a7Mh_xHCA6vA5TgkrAEfy/s320/gdt1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I choose to do an altered suitcase that will store all my vintage photography and postcard collection. Tilda papers where used on the inside and outside of the box. An image of Countess Henrietta Vernon painted by Thomas Gainsborough in 1767 is featured on the front.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvEFVdtpSTpu6oDCAm1wRlZg1C-jJ-jZHlXziTgDJWdYuV7Y4YJ0gWVQRNztQZkGent5LxTKY_rQvhqTlozyJkZlFHwtbCX79Zq2U5uLGy884ktqVrKfR_Q0tbF6w0jnLwprR92yYnB0CD/s1600/gdt3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvEFVdtpSTpu6oDCAm1wRlZg1C-jJ-jZHlXziTgDJWdYuV7Y4YJ0gWVQRNztQZkGent5LxTKY_rQvhqTlozyJkZlFHwtbCX79Zq2U5uLGy884ktqVrKfR_Q0tbF6w0jnLwprR92yYnB0CD/s320/gdt3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Laces were trimmed to create a cameo around the portrait. A large jeweled trim of rhinestones and pearls accents the French lace across the front. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW9HB7iljdH7uiUjhWsCT3OkmyKm3g4gb-PJ1DbluMetcsMAE6G4lrMeqXHipJgW-06-vLicagyqHgvU06Uy_Ft_gcQiUepQHlPDOMDgms-NwtGBJcEuw84WxCUGeD7aF-SZpXV5IjmKbI/s1600/gdt4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW9HB7iljdH7uiUjhWsCT3OkmyKm3g4gb-PJ1DbluMetcsMAE6G4lrMeqXHipJgW-06-vLicagyqHgvU06Uy_Ft_gcQiUepQHlPDOMDgms-NwtGBJcEuw84WxCUGeD7aF-SZpXV5IjmKbI/s320/gdt4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The inside of the box has the Tilda paper as well. The sepia photograph was printed on fabric and I fussy cut the lady to fit inside the lid. Butterfly wings were glued behind her to add whimsy and depth. More French lace runs across the bottom and up the side.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was asked to design some recipe cards for a bridal shower that had some vintage style to them and a little French country feel.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDNFMANClqORMt-mGr0zii8ZlWJRsgePyZoI1H-8kbsv8b4J9LzfictM7NHCspV0mhcEaGkXq-j7rbCH-upMmerNKoPQRypI6yvBSFVy-xbVcFwX4cjLFMw6OuXiqREYA4cVzfsm_flHsN/s1600/fork1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDNFMANClqORMt-mGr0zii8ZlWJRsgePyZoI1H-8kbsv8b4J9LzfictM7NHCspV0mhcEaGkXq-j7rbCH-upMmerNKoPQRypI6yvBSFVy-xbVcFwX4cjLFMw6OuXiqREYA4cVzfsm_flHsN/s320/fork1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The cards need to fit inside a recipe box the client ordered and wanted 4" x 6" cards and dividers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I selected a French Speckletone 80# cover cardstock in Oatmeal color and used black text and ink for the hand-stamped images.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6xAjU2XXyQHrlp2J6-kWwiCWUUSHiMZt8HgoNugNXQp9iadEU_9Dr6T_XbM2ifAQAyBwlXEH0NfTXdBi5q5ftpJXMlOrSiawTT-Kqxc6bevFJ-TXQ-jr1REavyBxsEGl339L8dUmKIH_f/s1600/fork2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6xAjU2XXyQHrlp2J6-kWwiCWUUSHiMZt8HgoNugNXQp9iadEU_9Dr6T_XbM2ifAQAyBwlXEH0NfTXdBi5q5ftpJXMlOrSiawTT-Kqxc6bevFJ-TXQ-jr1REavyBxsEGl339L8dUmKIH_f/s320/fork2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Came up with a couple of designs using different fonts and she like this one. The fork & spoon and rose images are two different looks. I have another Jane Austin that is coming out soon. These can be printed on white, cream of the French Speckletone...which is my favorite paper right now.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1A2RIMdm6wZwyRTJzbWgvg76qZoD1Q3gfSqnTtsNAH6WogbaYPdgMHH3DUADhIbrCvzTvHkUgA3lJ5xbCY90MJq0SNRqDxANrIKf65L3iXaXHJYPB8JIobiaGXdLmSIcbOqKd67_ULlUe/s1600/fork4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1A2RIMdm6wZwyRTJzbWgvg76qZoD1Q3gfSqnTtsNAH6WogbaYPdgMHH3DUADhIbrCvzTvHkUgA3lJ5xbCY90MJq0SNRqDxANrIKf65L3iXaXHJYPB8JIobiaGXdLmSIcbOqKd67_ULlUe/s320/fork4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The client selected the rose patterned cards as the recipe box had a rose on it as well and would coordinate nicely.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjODvY87DlYjfCnFFhCA_agHOt5LecYF-Sk8TcjYDnaaX2JUsEIlDsRERkhXfPVI6a5JQ0Umbj18XNcxzNmOwMBXlJRnbLAiySZrec5cgMi1E6bFQoq3BxkJHPjugYCtHrYPjq0K8NBvTjg/s1600/card3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjODvY87DlYjfCnFFhCA_agHOt5LecYF-Sk8TcjYDnaaX2JUsEIlDsRERkhXfPVI6a5JQ0Umbj18XNcxzNmOwMBXlJRnbLAiySZrec5cgMi1E6bFQoq3BxkJHPjugYCtHrYPjq0K8NBvTjg/s320/card3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She wanted matching dividers of I came up with these. Used a lovely Spellbinder die for the tab piece and mounted some on the left, center, and right with a rose image stamped in the center.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWlLECRQnUfoG2TFeM25Y-iS5ki0jO8TA-uFnnii8pRyEhPO2TB20XMXk0JvjYi_4AmEVDca1ZT-gTZEeUvwBS2cWU1CFmbs3CzpAY5GHJRhGv9QahpmTQxu5xh6xGT-SErGnmkAVKHOHg/s1600/rec1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWlLECRQnUfoG2TFeM25Y-iS5ki0jO8TA-uFnnii8pRyEhPO2TB20XMXk0JvjYi_4AmEVDca1ZT-gTZEeUvwBS2cWU1CFmbs3CzpAY5GHJRhGv9QahpmTQxu5xh6xGT-SErGnmkAVKHOHg/s320/rec1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Packaged them all up and off they go to a happy customer!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr48kRsWCCkcoeGRVSu-J9O1Z48vqF9p7LIEY1R5IqB4-hG8cE8igTSYLGJGwTS3HA77xIzdFgm-BqYlWnnCPGbIwjE0UIC9wLYc3GYj9rzIEPWoV3OJVPEneCACoX3Qz7hMSW9mLfs-zo/s1600/rec2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjr48kRsWCCkcoeGRVSu-J9O1Z48vqF9p7LIEY1R5IqB4-hG8cE8igTSYLGJGwTS3HA77xIzdFgm-BqYlWnnCPGbIwjE0UIC9wLYc3GYj9rzIEPWoV3OJVPEneCACoX3Qz7hMSW9mLfs-zo/s320/rec2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
And as in most of my designs, there is scripture on the back that reads Love the LORD with all your heart. <br />

So far, I really like the way this journal design is evolving. I've had a chance to play with some of my favorite stamps, embossing pastes, laces, and artwork to pull together the covering for my latest project.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9mH9aCDUSIg6rpE9ncRCSxbie2tC79z-ooQnes6CTJ0zBbcfZNAh2_V0_R5D8h_fBa77T_EHdBb9DBKPs8jpk8ERe29y-AcLpz5y8LuxgMszkSfRi5LTm3CxOPdOwi3JTg12rwXGKGipD/s1600/book3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9mH9aCDUSIg6rpE9ncRCSxbie2tC79z-ooQnes6CTJ0zBbcfZNAh2_V0_R5D8h_fBa77T_EHdBb9DBKPs8jpk8ERe29y-AcLpz5y8LuxgMszkSfRi5LTm3CxOPdOwi3JTg12rwXGKGipD/s320/book3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The cover art piece is a painting by Thomas Gainsborough, one of my two favorite artist, Reynolds being the other. This portrait is of Countess Mary Howe painted in 1763. There is a brilliance in how her costume has been painted. Wearing a lightweight summer dress of pink silk overlain by an apron of lace and layers of lace on the arms. Her pearl necklace is stunning and set off her delicate face.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifwRhRjO5A1PbVEeDJ2gpJmj3Me2GVNDJ2-n9A-2yBmDiWtNJtLWKGHYrV4nIs0gWpm_K-eVofyJydD8HkyWvn_M88w6yL6-UgYjNWqxy5cSKd8A_TZLMvNms6VM3gP28TbqAiH8s7o4p8/s1600/book5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifwRhRjO5A1PbVEeDJ2gpJmj3Me2GVNDJ2-n9A-2yBmDiWtNJtLWKGHYrV4nIs0gWpm_K-eVofyJydD8HkyWvn_M88w6yL6-UgYjNWqxy5cSKd8A_TZLMvNms6VM3gP28TbqAiH8s7o4p8/s320/book5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I used different laces and small pearls to compliment the artwork and bring out in a tactile way, those elements across the cover.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The use of mulberry paper flowers, stained, and brushed in clear gold glitter adds a richness that would be expected by Countess Howe if this were her book. I added a vintage gold and rhinestone crown to add some metal detail to the design. I feel challenged to add at least one piece of vintage jewelry (a passion of mine) to each item I design.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfF2bumoCig7wTG1sQzbgCv_cbAmI9OKQ0K_Wcuvouulcu71W-Dk6uyNCxq1mjIeAnU5u4wdr9uBZmtWShTMsQjujsUr8CLT-WGuQM2diqt5LKhIOD1DiuGMlMsns3l3s6Mt8xOdhsJdRe/s1600/book1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfF2bumoCig7wTG1sQzbgCv_cbAmI9OKQ0K_Wcuvouulcu71W-Dk6uyNCxq1mjIeAnU5u4wdr9uBZmtWShTMsQjujsUr8CLT-WGuQM2diqt5LKhIOD1DiuGMlMsns3l3s6Mt8xOdhsJdRe/s320/book1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The books spine was a particular design effort as it is 2 1/2" wide and 9" in length and I wanted the book to be able to stand up on a shelve if that is the way I wanted to display it. So the spine needed extra strength and attention. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzcAwQK4DkK5rCAJqEKcysCoGgJQlR1EVpBb1hyphenhyphenbvJF5yoka33wQsKoCDxFf7qnK7cqqdWjTW086CX6oj4sFt-_jlXOzOB-JxTKE3Lc3_xKWJtzcmHg408S_0AvCVbZYF6cGnsb9kj_R0r/s1600/book6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzcAwQK4DkK5rCAJqEKcysCoGgJQlR1EVpBb1hyphenhyphenbvJF5yoka33wQsKoCDxFf7qnK7cqqdWjTW086CX6oj4sFt-_jlXOzOB-JxTKE3Lc3_xKWJtzcmHg408S_0AvCVbZYF6cGnsb9kj_R0r/s320/book6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used extra-heavy weight cardboard stock, then ran it through a damask embossing folder to create the relief. Painted it with Silks acrylic glaze which added tons of shine. Wanted the look of rich oiled leather. Added the vintage style old gold metal plate and title paper Prayer Journal. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMY18QeWNy5Kb2Z7ueVVF4Nx1lF9Kq1kulvGCOFI2nJN9Bz004m1F2b0a4_4y7Z9-AVdNOw_B7EBVrAqL6Y_oP4vFEusfk7YCCv5tzZRS4dmI6YEedXB6ooxMCBMP3wv5bWOMCOjZ4nz1p/s1600/book7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMY18QeWNy5Kb2Z7ueVVF4Nx1lF9Kq1kulvGCOFI2nJN9Bz004m1F2b0a4_4y7Z9-AVdNOw_B7EBVrAqL6Y_oP4vFEusfk7YCCv5tzZRS4dmI6YEedXB6ooxMCBMP3wv5bWOMCOjZ4nz1p/s320/book7.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Added a metal element of a key plate after dying with gold ink as it was copper color. Put a title banner across the front Oh Lord, hear my prayers. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW4dUPdNoxKBv2nzi7wuVCzfNzSgqhhBLOO0AFf4hLHzrnWDipCzI6LRDlxWpLLlNm1Q4_XiRteeAJ_RgpScix3AanlIcCKK-nAIf7fdOGobg9GlqXNtFf6UvQej7IB7_JyskuFSsJ1T4k/s1600/book2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW4dUPdNoxKBv2nzi7wuVCzfNzSgqhhBLOO0AFf4hLHzrnWDipCzI6LRDlxWpLLlNm1Q4_XiRteeAJ_RgpScix3AanlIcCKK-nAIf7fdOGobg9GlqXNtFf6UvQej7IB7_JyskuFSsJ1T4k/s320/book2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

This book is going to be a prayer journal. It will have areas for pics of family, journaling sections to keep track of prayer requests, praise reports, areas for scripture memory work, Bible study plans, as well as thoughts and reflections section.<br />
<br />
Design theme will be vintage 18th Century, French and English influences, with a touch of shabby chic!<br />
<br />
Working right now on video showing the mixed media tutorial of designing the cover, spine, and back panels.<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3JAXSQFSY3GWZMdoCIcE5Kyms0iqAnI6U03ownR_E9o5tGMr9fcD-4mjZkr_fRQRK648CYchX6-yBnjzVfEc4xpWR2nftBNJrcVZnpDW1yeDgzV1jTzZyVgPK1GLuqSqf0sx4o0lHZ7hC/s1600/believe6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3JAXSQFSY3GWZMdoCIcE5Kyms0iqAnI6U03ownR_E9o5tGMr9fcD-4mjZkr_fRQRK648CYchX6-yBnjzVfEc4xpWR2nftBNJrcVZnpDW1yeDgzV1jTzZyVgPK1GLuqSqf0sx4o0lHZ7hC/s320/believe6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Smoothing out the packing paper, I then randomly hand-stamped the vintage angel and Believe images using Ranger Archival Ink in black. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbtjbFd1K5uH1y9_pZMUhH2SK7X_sjvQ1aAZyyeCPbyIFqmNg_YG-QfspZC6Xap868G4ZzAxOzCXHKSzoRoXyNt3q0h0oB4_GItEK2B_zGmkiMDgnQB54ZgPOy6c0kmH4fdstx8W8hIdM9/s1600/believe3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbtjbFd1K5uH1y9_pZMUhH2SK7X_sjvQ1aAZyyeCPbyIFqmNg_YG-QfspZC6Xap868G4ZzAxOzCXHKSzoRoXyNt3q0h0oB4_GItEK2B_zGmkiMDgnQB54ZgPOy6c0kmH4fdstx8W8hIdM9/s320/believe3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The tag uses matching scrap Kraft cardstock as a base sheet, then topped with a second sheet of the hand-stamped image of the angel. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGeauAN80-8hcMGNULbvOIzihvRccp7va4BeQYivVqKj_L59mqO7D_NfmIbrAw4rlJp4YrUtenkaIgBq76Ojs5yrU3JvVoGXu5aJ30iO-RKALRD5ga4CJYqE3x8BTX58G0L4v1Jm-w_dB7/s1600/believe1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGeauAN80-8hcMGNULbvOIzihvRccp7va4BeQYivVqKj_L59mqO7D_NfmIbrAw4rlJp4YrUtenkaIgBq76Ojs5yrU3JvVoGXu5aJ30iO-RKALRD5ga4CJYqE3x8BTX58G0L4v1Jm-w_dB7/s320/believe1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The tag has jute twine secured at the top with tails and also a scrap piece of matching green ribbon knotted with tails.<br />
<br />
I distressed the edges of the top sheet with Vintage Photo ink and then sprayed the image using Tattered Angels glimmer mist in a light gold color.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNxeUVpaELNf2R_yDP2s6nyJ6Vh6Brci-uGMYvq8-BGcFn5Ccl58Gg2vmXVLcElk0SLgSEC8d29BudRMv17NdZdtlFCaZ1E9UrtBanIRUoobjApho9i-4yneTwi5XTtj9k3BywWGvhHkdm/s1600/believe4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNxeUVpaELNf2R_yDP2s6nyJ6Vh6Brci-uGMYvq8-BGcFn5Ccl58Gg2vmXVLcElk0SLgSEC8d29BudRMv17NdZdtlFCaZ1E9UrtBanIRUoobjApho9i-4yneTwi5XTtj9k3BywWGvhHkdm/s320/believe4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The repeated pattern carries across the entire sheet of paper, so even the back is decorated.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdj_tQXRVeyJtk_FBHC2i9QyPyS7zSJobWreTwgh2nC_yUenb-lhULSG8OxXk7INiipUZ4ag5j0_ZCvuhHq2RATPz5EPKbH6xXyf4g1-bjtazvjhST3S5rJVoTvvScysW_UlYyzQ69H5ja/s1600/believe2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdj_tQXRVeyJtk_FBHC2i9QyPyS7zSJobWreTwgh2nC_yUenb-lhULSG8OxXk7INiipUZ4ag5j0_ZCvuhHq2RATPz5EPKbH6xXyf4g1-bjtazvjhST3S5rJVoTvvScysW_UlYyzQ69H5ja/s320/believe2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The crinkled Kraft packing paper lends an aged effect to this hand-made vintage shabby chic style of packaging. <br />

Thanks for stopping by and leave a comment.<br />

Merry Christmas,<br />

I found it while touring France and visiting the Palace of Versailles.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbPChJ7FlPfSjEldcWc4oTFlYiY17YYzd4MRGyz9UopCGFZEEY45v-M1i9T25hp-ZKt_BPvrl5die_ipQqSX20g4Z-j9zPZRYpv8vFPMnhEa5ZhE2lGf39ycnqvexJcOFNSj8-1RmG7Vv4/s1600/ver1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbPChJ7FlPfSjEldcWc4oTFlYiY17YYzd4MRGyz9UopCGFZEEY45v-M1i9T25hp-ZKt_BPvrl5die_ipQqSX20g4Z-j9zPZRYpv8vFPMnhEa5ZhE2lGf39ycnqvexJcOFNSj8-1RmG7Vv4/s320/ver1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
This is a beautifully designed book and covers the life of the ill-fated queen, her husband, and children. It begins with her life at the Viennese Court, then marriage to the King, court life at Versailles including Petit Trianon.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfSmztlDYjhkmQVcFsfcmu9YDTY4Cx1PuyXV8-5trS9wNhkQ0OCLK7NVK136KMLbp67sFQ83bDdLi55SfLsDE-ZTsan6Z5o7waenY1fJaIklfg5wFdJuYAGfkTEYJVEaOhZaQXjwoD15vd/s1600/ver2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfSmztlDYjhkmQVcFsfcmu9YDTY4Cx1PuyXV8-5trS9wNhkQ0OCLK7NVK136KMLbp67sFQ83bDdLi55SfLsDE-ZTsan6Z5o7waenY1fJaIklfg5wFdJuYAGfkTEYJVEaOhZaQXjwoD15vd/s320/ver2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The book finishes with her down-fall, the revolution, and tragic end. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh60wO9XH8zlxiXesZhe-whaqYnaNaBkcwHSJOdLwPL9rz-UDGrq5YtoVN6HScRSCrbW_F1o7ojaco3UtlDrpfFUVfgc0PxwVuEUyqVYoJ45avzX049UJ4xNgVdP3CzUrr5ISkAZT4ajiT1/s1600/ver5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh60wO9XH8zlxiXesZhe-whaqYnaNaBkcwHSJOdLwPL9rz-UDGrq5YtoVN6HScRSCrbW_F1o7ojaco3UtlDrpfFUVfgc0PxwVuEUyqVYoJ45avzX049UJ4xNgVdP3CzUrr5ISkAZT4ajiT1/s320/ver5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Petit Trianon-The Queen's Refuge is also covered very well, showing the buildings, clothing and lifestyle while the queen was there.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5TLJBNXASTRlRPDN4mPupw0jd4hhNtX4UC7E67tUNQlk0yypeZcya2YblB3J6rVoNrvjU_YBDc0wbEMkG8BqyxBh2DcsSXn9LkxPTiDps3KRUFuA36Ya4aorVMYM1KO_gEVFYUGn5cnQI/s1600/ver3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5TLJBNXASTRlRPDN4mPupw0jd4hhNtX4UC7E67tUNQlk0yypeZcya2YblB3J6rVoNrvjU_YBDc0wbEMkG8BqyxBh2DcsSXn9LkxPTiDps3KRUFuA36Ya4aorVMYM1KO_gEVFYUGn5cnQI/s320/ver3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Sincerely appreciate the level of details the book offers regarding Dressing The Queen as well as her furnishings and room décor at the palace.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXHYgrEyA-rxsEmBnbigLbjjkmTyk60gUVmvS1iovbTVWQpCk02awTxxN8iLkDIEBf7-9eJzvezkD34I9hSVEwkgVFftFGDijmXmqGBSPU2olLBNnhPu59yiot1XOFUMJTmuRx1v7Ci8cH/s1600/ver4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXHYgrEyA-rxsEmBnbigLbjjkmTyk60gUVmvS1iovbTVWQpCk02awTxxN8iLkDIEBf7-9eJzvezkD34I9hSVEwkgVFftFGDijmXmqGBSPU2olLBNnhPu59yiot1XOFUMJTmuRx1v7Ci8cH/s320/ver4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The photography and details are gorgeous throughout and is a must-have for those interested in life and times of Marie Antoinette.<br />
<br />
With love,<br />

I was asked to design a Civil War North & South themed </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
wedding invitation set for a couple that participates in historical re-enactment</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
and they wanted a blue and grey themed set. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Declaration of Love tri-fold invitation set looks like </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
an official proclamation document from the desk of either Grant or Lee!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixHjwp9qeDIxAaC71cnZF70SWFkTPy0lkjo8C-7wmYZg-qLz5LDDvjOqUmOF9xjMgVvy7cV8_a5E9xIfd9xk_hovR6cgalQ106yjxwCEVkHrWQ1UXVgac5_xLof1AdjowIkSLKKs4RAvOe/s1600/dol2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixHjwp9qeDIxAaC71cnZF70SWFkTPy0lkjo8C-7wmYZg-qLz5LDDvjOqUmOF9xjMgVvy7cV8_a5E9xIfd9xk_hovR6cgalQ106yjxwCEVkHrWQ1UXVgac5_xLof1AdjowIkSLKKs4RAvOe/s320/dol2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The red satin ribbon and rhinestone heart appears to have a official proclamation to the main invitation. Metallic silver cardstock base, with navy blue second sheets present the white top sheets. Elegant fonts are used to provide a vintage feel overall.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz0S3hftsPTTnXP9Z4xdE1xjMAoaLUl3wEmpf9yveWUXmjmyAK7zXSJgIuN7BS3oules7bDSHT7LYwnKNvuS8YTgSU3DmCmhDSAhQNgS7N-rAby-C7DRg-OdFSAINTDmAS90941YgKA25T/s1600/dol1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz0S3hftsPTTnXP9Z4xdE1xjMAoaLUl3wEmpf9yveWUXmjmyAK7zXSJgIuN7BS3oules7bDSHT7LYwnKNvuS8YTgSU3DmCmhDSAhQNgS7N-rAby-C7DRg-OdFSAINTDmAS90941YgKA25T/s320/dol1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Metallic gold hand-stamped images are an elegant touch to this official proclamation of Love.<br />
Oversized RSVP card is accompanied by an Monarch size envelope making a statement to your guest. And an oversized Accommodations insert card finished out the package.<br />

This one has a vintage Southern Plantation style charm throughout the book.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibvUvUgq3YIYxEpCJ7APMEAC95vP55b-UU2Pvzlt7FdNvcwZHUr_jmuVdRfSIpdrzZ4GV7k2od4oqdOKsstvaRqAh9t9GA0m758s0eo5Wqhf5R1RbH8w3RFT0W9rAb_iF30aNGQ4i0tgNP/s1600/kim1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibvUvUgq3YIYxEpCJ7APMEAC95vP55b-UU2Pvzlt7FdNvcwZHUr_jmuVdRfSIpdrzZ4GV7k2od4oqdOKsstvaRqAh9t9GA0m758s0eo5Wqhf5R1RbH8w3RFT0W9rAb_iF30aNGQ4i0tgNP/s320/kim1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Vintage ivory lace, satin ribbon, and embossed damask panel are featured on the cover. Sepia ink is hand-rubbed on the edges of the book and panel for an aged appearance.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmoI4btdPBncYTwKfgY4pek1kCv-qPY0iJEKuB4IOJpdmZB4UL-OBj5bS1Ael8Gh-ruhTDCkdk6EqTR-fZZi8bvrx4iC_tVMFdYVh8VwASnkYuvPwv9qTkvMqr22-o29iCR-7tGk7r4Llo/s1600/kim2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmoI4btdPBncYTwKfgY4pek1kCv-qPY0iJEKuB4IOJpdmZB4UL-OBj5bS1Ael8Gh-ruhTDCkdk6EqTR-fZZi8bvrx4iC_tVMFdYVh8VwASnkYuvPwv9qTkvMqr22-o29iCR-7tGk7r4Llo/s320/kim2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Die cut raised panel with vintage hand-stamped image finishes off the cover detail. The vintage hand-stamped images carry the old plantation Southern charm theme to the inside and back panel as well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
This customer wanted to have on the back the history of Jumping The Broom as it was the finale of their wedding ceremony. Scripture included on this program is from 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is Love. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I kept thinking about all the historical home tours I have taken over the years with their restored interiors, old wall papers, and even the vintage clothing that is an obsession of mine and tried to create the look and feel of the Old South. By combining the vintage lace, satin ribbon, embossed damask pattern, and vintage hand-stamped images, I was able to create this truly Old Southern Plantation style program book.<br />

This is a painted cabinet that holds my cardstock, lace, trims, and product samples. The cardstock sheet are in plastic expandable sleeves that have an opening at the top that snaps close. I am able to keep all my scraps together with full sheets.<br />

I am not fond of plastic storage, so I dressed up the front panels of these stacking drawers. The unit is 15 drawers high and contains all my inks, tools, paints, rhinestone/pearl embellishments, glitter/embossing powders, punches, and swatch books. I used Prima Marketing cardstock cut into strips, and then created a label to mark the drawers. It really came out pretty!<br />

I know viewers like to see the complete studio tour, so I was thinking when my studio is finished, of producing a design studio tour video for YouTube. <br />

The wedding of Rebecca and James was featured in August 2014 Croatia edition of Nova, The Modern Magazine for the Bride and "low and behold" there was our wedding ceremony program!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Her wedding was spectacular as you can see by all the photography.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

An elegant and classic design was used to create this tri-fold ceremony program. Textured heavy-weight cardstock, with top sheets of Classic Crest Natural White cardstock was used. A soft pale pink 5/8" double sided satin ribbon wrapped around the program as was tied with a bow and tails. The text was printed is grey inks.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I really enjoy designing thank you note cards for newly married couples. It's a beautiful way to express themselves with personalize stationery using photos, their names, a personal messages, and scripture </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
that expresses their faith.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqKekR58EQeUsRB5w686MyHAXMxZ6VMmbDZknhM0Zy1I6s7si_Qw7s-GL4KiP3U1JrnwUA_xCBcXI6ukX10ktKrT16sLt-KPbJgKlm7aW4MI_QW5lir5vkfsTWKHCglVIWus2O1cwqfWPZ/s1600/jerome2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqKekR58EQeUsRB5w686MyHAXMxZ6VMmbDZknhM0Zy1I6s7si_Qw7s-GL4KiP3U1JrnwUA_xCBcXI6ukX10ktKrT16sLt-KPbJgKlm7aW4MI_QW5lir5vkfsTWKHCglVIWus2O1cwqfWPZ/s1600/jerome2.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The note cards also show their character, as well as the couples taste and style. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is Love. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This seems to be a favorite among newlyweds.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs0y6qpro5LrU9HBfJXrrgcuiNZBF4XTb6jxXbZH7WZRsfe4WLUpklDyDEWZIx-7hl5qQPIBMTbmspC2XTXAM_7_Psmub9gYwwWtDTcACZ4dAIJXeiXJzXxMiZ_7EvEwcD3SdtsMYE2TSb/s1600/thank1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs0y6qpro5LrU9HBfJXrrgcuiNZBF4XTb6jxXbZH7WZRsfe4WLUpklDyDEWZIx-7hl5qQPIBMTbmspC2XTXAM_7_Psmub9gYwwWtDTcACZ4dAIJXeiXJzXxMiZ_7EvEwcD3SdtsMYE2TSb/s1600/thank1.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Are Thank You note cards going out of style. Nope! It is never "out of style" to send someone a personal note of thanks. This is when an email or telephone call just won't do the job as those lines of communication </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
are just too informal.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2FqnltCtV1py8a5PT3qA9RALU97_b4hQOncPfctTm3q3CEI-YevP3iEBpKiGJkSKlWVXC-HXLnVbdTr8_ao1lAJtViRwSroSo97XKI8Jhzgv4A1Jcy2RUQZ9z3Ns_SET7UHE93pka0BBs/s1600/dora4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2FqnltCtV1py8a5PT3qA9RALU97_b4hQOncPfctTm3q3CEI-YevP3iEBpKiGJkSKlWVXC-HXLnVbdTr8_ao1lAJtViRwSroSo97XKI8Jhzgv4A1Jcy2RUQZ9z3Ns_SET7UHE93pka0BBs/s1600/dora4.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Having personalized stationery and Thank You note cards that are blank inside, provides the opportunity to express a quick note of Thanks for a special kindnesses, appreciation, or thoughtfulness that someone has shown. Great scripture for these kind of notes is Philippians 1:3- I thank my God </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
every time I remember you.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaeW4K4ySIdH9H5V9bKo3vWpvidjPiW2zS3kBEmm3nvrYSXNm90Q7zBEPEPK1IVxsnXVSJEoahEKuh15fnaHc0fxxmXqkKR1zlKBvm2_0RB51S-IHFMHgocmyK70LW9MAKP5uXKQIZR_El/s1600/brig2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaeW4K4ySIdH9H5V9bKo3vWpvidjPiW2zS3kBEmm3nvrYSXNm90Q7zBEPEPK1IVxsnXVSJEoahEKuh15fnaHc0fxxmXqkKR1zlKBvm2_0RB51S-IHFMHgocmyK70LW9MAKP5uXKQIZR_El/s1600/brig2.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Whether its for wedding, baby shower, Bat Mitzvah, 1st Communion, graduation, or any of life's many moments, saying Thank You in any language demonstrates an expression of gratitude that is one of the basic courtesies that should never be neglected.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Much love and God bless, </div>

Found this lovely boy skipping stones. The finish on the piece has subtle shades of brown, pink, and greens, and besides, it looks like my grandson Nolan. The statue measures 24" height and is made from plaster. I was thrilled by the level of detail in this piece.<br />

I just loved this bunny and felt it would add a bit of whimsy to my studio. Love the long ears. This is a large full body rabbit with some weight to it. <br />

I buy art work based on what I like and find pretty. This piece was a surprise to me. Fairy prints by K.W. Diefenbach 1 of 6 minitures in the original frame. It is a reverse painting on glass. Small 4 x 5" piece, but beautiful.</div>

This small dish was too cute to pass up. The image is of The Mermaid House in Rye, Sussex. It is Sandland Ware from Staffordshire, England. There is a little girl feeding chickens in the yard. My kind of place!<br />

Unfortunately, I could not get good photography of the whole carriage. The structure of the wheels and undercarriage where huge. <br />
<br />
Later that same day, I came across another smaller museum and found this antique notions cabinet with all the different color treads.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
All the colors inspired me and are still fresh in my mind. Time to get my sketchbook out and work on a few new designs. In the meantime, I'll toss my traveling pants into the laundry, and get them ready for my next trip.<br />
<br />
All my best, <br />

What a wonderful idea for this wedding couple. They wanted their guest to leave prayers, blessings, advice and thoughts for them. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTFo1Q39rdx9ZxZxo3jo8as7XUdxFgukaQrfTMbmwMz5ZG3JJ0EdOD7yv0qYGR1N9C-nH2O_RHTIG5fwBNM37vhqBGA467A21FxBg7_K6c5xKbXJoXOsL-lmLFBJ3N3H9r44gRGOBeSQXr/s1600/pic5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTFo1Q39rdx9ZxZxo3jo8as7XUdxFgukaQrfTMbmwMz5ZG3JJ0EdOD7yv0qYGR1N9C-nH2O_RHTIG5fwBNM37vhqBGA467A21FxBg7_K6c5xKbXJoXOsL-lmLFBJ3N3H9r44gRGOBeSQXr/s320/pic5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The table card lets everyone know the intent of the prayer cards. The couple would then put all these cards into a time capsule and open it on their 5 year wedding anniversary.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5bQzsfD3qKo2mOKTgcpdlbRiYbfpNyH5vV_ezFeI89zc3ek0Z6RLfDFXYJQXGzTnlPPHDYZUVMOUBfOjU8FhRZkBeNZUVXrQHbmavaA5OUlpPkC4aEaKM3ewD-Kp9Z01yfNGXDkGi7hN2/s1600/pic1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5bQzsfD3qKo2mOKTgcpdlbRiYbfpNyH5vV_ezFeI89zc3ek0Z6RLfDFXYJQXGzTnlPPHDYZUVMOUBfOjU8FhRZkBeNZUVXrQHbmavaA5OUlpPkC4aEaKM3ewD-Kp9Z01yfNGXDkGi7hN2/s320/pic1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The whole project had a vintage garden shabby chic style to the materials. The Blessings paper cones are from the Madeline paper collection. The prayer cards are hand-stamped with flowers and then rubbed with sepia ink for an aged appearance. The cards have plenty of room on the front and back for guest to write on.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Being bold with color can push any designer to try a new approach to classic pieces. Mixing vintage style, chocolate brown and pastels with navy blue, pushed me to approach this wedding ceremony paddle fan with an open mind. The results worked beautifully. </div>

The base is made from 110lb ivory cardstock. The edges are rounded for a softer effect and hand-rubbed with sepia ink for an aged appearance. The text is custom chocolate ink and I used a vintage German botanical print of the Christarose on both the front and back of the fan.</div>

<br />
Two-sided table numbers were made as a flags and carried the vintage flower theme. The client already had a flower pot base and wooden dowel post, she just wanted a pennant / flag style table number with chocolate brown numbers, navy blue accent, and vibrant flowers for the background.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNGwWdC93TLJAXyKzNjkXujo_2bmDD4MzQcSFzfx9B9YbY9W052L3tCm6q1zXosgQ4jbjxvUsve5olJx6yHS9lWBrq5ImZhZVO7xEGPv_JgaADY2k3hyG5vBsYQ9-Lw6IVnNth5AOwfUX5/s1600/c2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNGwWdC93TLJAXyKzNjkXujo_2bmDD4MzQcSFzfx9B9YbY9W052L3tCm6q1zXosgQ4jbjxvUsve5olJx6yHS9lWBrq5ImZhZVO7xEGPv_JgaADY2k3hyG5vBsYQ9-Lw6IVnNth5AOwfUX5/s320/c2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Adding the sepia ink to all the edges pulls the vintage feel all together.<br />
<br />
Trying new and different colors together can certainly add flair to your next project.<br />
<br />
All my best, <br />
<br />

Had a really great time and found lots of goodies.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIS175N77QL6KRoiMW-I13oueVTkYf0iTAgmx62ZgUtIl_XXhfK8gbCNiUumeHe5Ydr_dzlpjJqHYibddTrFnZpCgqzj4tD9lpyEkXvN-Ih3a1VSVCvpZtHu6qZAN-q18_0p2f-KtsxYP7/s1600/mel+fran1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIS175N77QL6KRoiMW-I13oueVTkYf0iTAgmx62ZgUtIl_XXhfK8gbCNiUumeHe5Ydr_dzlpjJqHYibddTrFnZpCgqzj4tD9lpyEkXvN-Ih3a1VSVCvpZtHu6qZAN-q18_0p2f-KtsxYP7/s320/mel+fran1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Although I took a few classes, my favorite was Making Crepe Paper Flowers with Melissa Frances. What a wonderful lady! She is a hoot. I'm adding her blog here for you to stop by and check out what she is all about. <a href="http://www.melissafrances.typepad.com/">http://www.melissafrances.typepad.com/</a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu9m2wWu8rc5-lK6GlKuOYvCcZAYR1o4jo_yLHGK7-7dW1PPWogES-WojmzVsG1A0lp0PXyepdbJMNdNJgGv4OLtGSiE8oiDfN9AkOnF5Vxr5Q-z_nb-NVSL6iza1_I5LppAC2D03fMLdl/s1600/mel+fran2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu9m2wWu8rc5-lK6GlKuOYvCcZAYR1o4jo_yLHGK7-7dW1PPWogES-WojmzVsG1A0lp0PXyepdbJMNdNJgGv4OLtGSiE8oiDfN9AkOnF5Vxr5Q-z_nb-NVSL6iza1_I5LppAC2D03fMLdl/s320/mel+fran2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
We made these altered art stacked boxes. I keep thinking this project looks like...cake...cake...cake. Clearly, I was hungry during class time. My flower on top came out pretty good.<br />
<br />
Stopped by Melissa's booth after the class, to check out all her lovely items. Wow, pretty... pretty...oooh...ahhh. Yes, I think I drooled a bit. Her collection offers beautiful flowers, trims, papers, and embellishments that guarantees the crafter quality products and exceptional design ideas.<br />

Did a quick make-and-take with her daughter Ali. We made a mini album from one piece of 12 x 12 cardstock. Added vintage ink, Melissa Frances vintage style C'est La Vie cardstock stickers, and of course, glitter. Very pretty.<br />
<br />
Picked up some great deals at the show. <br />

S.E.I. had this beautiful butterfly paper Field Notes...love it. Planning a mini album with this paper.<br />
<br />
Picked up these great LaBlanche silicone stamps. The designs are stunning. Of course, I found a bunny to add to my collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And last, but not least, found a bin of My Mind's Eye papers. Seriously reduced! Being the paper crazy girl that I am, I elbowed my way in, and came out with a pile of Lost & Found sheets that are beautiful. I'm think'in Christmas. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNL8YUceBcwIdfmaoJ9uMNcKeBP8elvirG9cazoQbqIGnF3hESEWFIQ58n60d7hqkMUalraBN8_jqV8kXbWgubGU3ORnQlbxvJ4LqyIOWhQvq8QGVE2bbdsHX0rgKmKbnwydeZZWDlKh6f/s1600/hallie1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNL8YUceBcwIdfmaoJ9uMNcKeBP8elvirG9cazoQbqIGnF3hESEWFIQ58n60d7hqkMUalraBN8_jqV8kXbWgubGU3ORnQlbxvJ4LqyIOWhQvq8QGVE2bbdsHX0rgKmKbnwydeZZWDlKh6f/s320/hallie1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
In this case, a client that liked the flowers and flourishes pattern, wanted this image on her wedding program and reception table numbers, escort cards, and menu. She wanted all of her items to have a vintage appearance combining a femine and some masculine feel to the materials. Her preference was mocha brown and peach color choices with ivory.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgClFcueatoRx0aOQcJHN9ry66zm0MAW07Ln8ZanUpHRdldmKwIIzQ_Y2-7UB5txtf0mK_yuVjGfDDu0CuRAEmoz653NsHD3MoyOfvuxOoqbI_KscFpTeSTZgIGwX3k1fDZlsph4RBhZUJn/s1600/hallie5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgClFcueatoRx0aOQcJHN9ry66zm0MAW07Ln8ZanUpHRdldmKwIIzQ_Y2-7UB5txtf0mK_yuVjGfDDu0CuRAEmoz653NsHD3MoyOfvuxOoqbI_KscFpTeSTZgIGwX3k1fDZlsph4RBhZUJn/s320/hallie5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I started with the wedding program, using ivory cardstock base, I built panels of ivory edged in sepia ink to give the program an aged appearance. The 3/8" peach satin ribbon was knotted and secured across the cover. The flowers and flourishes pattern was stamped in sepia ink particially at the top and bottom. This was a large program and measured 11" x 4 1/4" folded.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNVGViUOBe6mWte0ZRdwXjXOZTdkST5xMpqHSkhZikk4R8y_12IfV5vlKyBiEsFER-2UrY12BlqwVau2_PJgrV8-GsZ6kzYZc985cDr9gi71SRFvg4-xUwc7q37gd6xqQZYANMD7nhdeV2/s1600/hallie6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNVGViUOBe6mWte0ZRdwXjXOZTdkST5xMpqHSkhZikk4R8y_12IfV5vlKyBiEsFER-2UrY12BlqwVau2_PJgrV8-GsZ6kzYZc985cDr9gi71SRFvg4-xUwc7q37gd6xqQZYANMD7nhdeV2/s320/hallie6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The inside panels are also rubbed in vintage sepia ink and hand-stamped with a portion of the flowers and flourishes pattern to continue the theme inside. Care had to be taken with the layout and design of the inside panels, so that the stamped pattern would line up appropriately.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuzwBP_nHiBYiZPCi4XK4Zucvd8CQYfTmJHo4nG7VoogiXBl9cq5EmeiL8pMVl2sVuXCQ151m8nqZL96fgVX0cN36aceEmLTHTAKeY5u0j9PY7xBfe3-SoyW8xN-Q89EyY79LmjluLhHbO/s1600/hallie2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuzwBP_nHiBYiZPCi4XK4Zucvd8CQYfTmJHo4nG7VoogiXBl9cq5EmeiL8pMVl2sVuXCQ151m8nqZL96fgVX0cN36aceEmLTHTAKeY5u0j9PY7xBfe3-SoyW8xN-Q89EyY79LmjluLhHbO/s320/hallie2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
At the reception table, these lovely two-sided tent style table numbers adorned the table scape. The ivory cardstock base hosted a full pattern of the flowers and flourishes stamp trimmed with a ragged edge and heavily rubbed with sepia ink. The peach satin ribbon ran across the lower third of the panel and was topped by a raised panel of brown linen cardstock and ivory cardstock top sheet. The number panel is raised with dimensionals. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaeyg9RzTha_5oXK9FgY6fe6VDvksSYNuksu-l443kGKRh8qMjlExXQZsCBNXGtvOj2if_zrRutUQ746-UTw7TTkAaoLxfvcUK4GvKOWM2l_vngwyxfygS2-p2B6IizxEqOqK8cSoAXcP9/s1600/hallie2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaeyg9RzTha_5oXK9FgY6fe6VDvksSYNuksu-l443kGKRh8qMjlExXQZsCBNXGtvOj2if_zrRutUQ746-UTw7TTkAaoLxfvcUK4GvKOWM2l_vngwyxfygS2-p2B6IizxEqOqK8cSoAXcP9/s320/hallie2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Each guest received their escort card upon entering the reception area. The cards had a coordinating brown linen cardstock base, hand-stamped flowers and flourish pattern edged with vintage sepia ink and an ivory top sheet with their name and table number assignment. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjOJkGkiNZbSPbfhq9Ah9BrN1ZWWFXw42GBLGrIhFkJLZmqRiL5uw-0B0M9OPCxK5ZzOfL3id093S1Etc5MxbgRnOrKFR52V49Y0WWWsin-ujU7l6vUdvuE3zoHTn-VLF1bRQ7m0pSlCKJ/s1600/set1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjOJkGkiNZbSPbfhq9Ah9BrN1ZWWFXw42GBLGrIhFkJLZmqRiL5uw-0B0M9OPCxK5ZzOfL3id093S1Etc5MxbgRnOrKFR52V49Y0WWWsin-ujU7l6vUdvuE3zoHTn-VLF1bRQ7m0pSlCKJ/s320/set1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The menu design completed the package of wedding materials that the guest would see at the reception. A base of brown linen cardstock had a matching flower and flourish full panel (like the table number) with the ragged edge rubbed with vintage sepia ink and had a peach ribbon mounted across the panel. The menu was printed onto ivory cardstock and rubbed with sepia ink as well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUhLgi97b-HI0UdaDTSvxJi0MpdEDjz33VUk0MQLoZkhyphenhyphenbqy5vSXlzNm0B3esGPpCGWdrMHpaZhjvJM4YiS9O5n-4k1mTxRQSzZ5uptz191eYxRn6_V6otSe9uTms2rOMVvlBnao_S3A23/s1600/hallie15.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUhLgi97b-HI0UdaDTSvxJi0MpdEDjz33VUk0MQLoZkhyphenhyphenbqy5vSXlzNm0B3esGPpCGWdrMHpaZhjvJM4YiS9O5n-4k1mTxRQSzZ5uptz191eYxRn6_V6otSe9uTms2rOMVvlBnao_S3A23/s320/hallie15.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
This set of hand-made wedding materials came out exceptional and the client loved the finished product. I have to admit though, it was labor intensive, and I was happy to get this project completed. Believe it or not, I still like the flowers and flourishes pattern, even after as many times as I had to stamp it for this complete project.<br />
<br />
All my best,<br />

It has been around a while, 2004, but has the detail and techniques for creating beautiful flowers that I want to learn for my art projects. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMLs2L8m7OiqqDByr2PtItl0RQSJf6LwCaSVbn1N6UR_QrtwqLgcH9ca8e7tY-4SdllbzUuxnuVTJ5vZuu3bSLak4Yi43HLjVCbD2j-Yau3Yox-_W3kAEszAZjtxHQ6X8bfdOdnUQfQu9t/s1600/ribbon+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMLs2L8m7OiqqDByr2PtItl0RQSJf6LwCaSVbn1N6UR_QrtwqLgcH9ca8e7tY-4SdllbzUuxnuVTJ5vZuu3bSLak4Yi43HLjVCbD2j-Yau3Yox-_W3kAEszAZjtxHQ6X8bfdOdnUQfQu9t/s320/ribbon+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>The book is visually stunning and colorful.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiIgeLq8LX2M4dfDHvaw3PcpOpGYX7lfwT7JBb3Av9SLL2YlX3qKm255B1wEBwzZNcwrgJNKvsLlX5unPIsnd4hQFdRkn-OfV1c7kE3KQ09lKDOS9dQDm02kGOGOHVt1J37c2cfpYgBNfl/s1600/IMG_7891.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiIgeLq8LX2M4dfDHvaw3PcpOpGYX7lfwT7JBb3Av9SLL2YlX3qKm255B1wEBwzZNcwrgJNKvsLlX5unPIsnd4hQFdRkn-OfV1c7kE3KQ09lKDOS9dQDm02kGOGOHVt1J37c2cfpYgBNfl/s320/IMG_7891.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>The details of the techniques are graphically laid out well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgO8YZEgPCWGStdKVTbdMQtaaG0EloOkgD6E1cJwwmn6rjAL1zdoLq3I2dMU4pKBJJZZXG0dP8_-yxhr-bsCj-HnJkcLegcxGD_gdTODMboKVYdmXa02c6y7GrnljvSbzk_GLduIDbeUwdT/s1600/ribbon+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgO8YZEgPCWGStdKVTbdMQtaaG0EloOkgD6E1cJwwmn6rjAL1zdoLq3I2dMU4pKBJJZZXG0dP8_-yxhr-bsCj-HnJkcLegcxGD_gdTODMboKVYdmXa02c6y7GrnljvSbzk_GLduIDbeUwdT/s320/ribbon+4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW6reKNzSWtuJvPOzamiJWCYVtpPQ9zGADdj_J8uBskwHLaNgruf9gUsi8WyByMdkQVq8TLnCM-bZ-vIO5naf_C4qzUvmpQaipLKPzmN8WLIQqfQ1xUrenngf3_YLeqPIRgpzocQWPhZ6N/s1600/ribbon+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW6reKNzSWtuJvPOzamiJWCYVtpPQ9zGADdj_J8uBskwHLaNgruf9gUsi8WyByMdkQVq8TLnCM-bZ-vIO5naf_C4qzUvmpQaipLKPzmN8WLIQqfQ1xUrenngf3_YLeqPIRgpzocQWPhZ6N/s320/ribbon+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div> At first, this book seemed intimidating, but after working with it for a while, it really is inspiring! The price tag was a little shocking too, but this book is substantial in its construction and information. Well worth the money.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaZbzsR1d_jW4tbCZT0XYKyYKROl_RJ972U2eFPdUSNeby2beXXxAlxbuvN3wXTNjUrWM4V6XrFFgPlXn_sSgVOItrCZiQzvLrAVuDgNzmUwU-gHW6R3Mbyg7ybiPzjulJGYjh7Xdvxy0M/s1600/ribbon+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaZbzsR1d_jW4tbCZT0XYKyYKROl_RJ972U2eFPdUSNeby2beXXxAlxbuvN3wXTNjUrWM4V6XrFFgPlXn_sSgVOItrCZiQzvLrAVuDgNzmUwU-gHW6R3Mbyg7ybiPzjulJGYjh7Xdvxy0M/s320/ribbon+3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Hopefully, my flower designs and trimmings will turn out as pretty as the ones in the pictures.<br />
<br />
All my best, <br />

Each piece holds a fasination for me. Who wore this? Was it a gift from a loved one, or did they buy it for themselves?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWXIjhN4uHdoJTkz28cN6mz_IxGasqiUHV3zePyEJMMgB44BQFkfyGyXZVxqMjtprZMLxnZorYfWb13lUG73H8iqal59RmzkGbzvbeJD1Wfg7FXgOLIAMR1xMFZAJTSbXonKT8_TTdR0tO/s1600/vint+jewel+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWXIjhN4uHdoJTkz28cN6mz_IxGasqiUHV3zePyEJMMgB44BQFkfyGyXZVxqMjtprZMLxnZorYfWb13lUG73H8iqal59RmzkGbzvbeJD1Wfg7FXgOLIAMR1xMFZAJTSbXonKT8_TTdR0tO/s320/vint+jewel+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>The delicate nature of these pieces have lasted over time, and are still useful even in their worn state. Re-purposing old jewelry into my art adds a vintage and antique deminsion to my work.<br />
<br />
Did she feel like royality when she wore this crown pin?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT6T-7dLExefmnCzDrlcezO6-sgSXpm1dPF8ZwV7QoGHhak6lV7ARVZHQaBPfRkAEY_fjrIJaqKITk0eP7gEMN1UtUJtoNK2ktR-Pb5B5xoa_aY6KDVvy8uOlIwAtVCtP63QgDUQoFmg_C/s1600/vint+jewel+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT6T-7dLExefmnCzDrlcezO6-sgSXpm1dPF8ZwV7QoGHhak6lV7ARVZHQaBPfRkAEY_fjrIJaqKITk0eP7gEMN1UtUJtoNK2ktR-Pb5B5xoa_aY6KDVvy8uOlIwAtVCtP63QgDUQoFmg_C/s320/vint+jewel+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>This one is very worn and the patina is great. The gold tone metal monogram is pitted and scratched. The wood is still in good condition and adds to the weight of this piece.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCIGbXNHoDTyKTH5jBPJMSpQeNmMAX-U_OsNYeQI6T0H7JzUfY7nZB46IuLgEKepGWpl0t1z36m4e4bBAl2-o8P6KRB_7TulBF-NMgXELjtJB_M3MuWFLIBcoJL23ITJv4ZzbEuFH2YoIF/s1600/vint+jewel+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCIGbXNHoDTyKTH5jBPJMSpQeNmMAX-U_OsNYeQI6T0H7JzUfY7nZB46IuLgEKepGWpl0t1z36m4e4bBAl2-o8P6KRB_7TulBF-NMgXELjtJB_M3MuWFLIBcoJL23ITJv4ZzbEuFH2YoIF/s320/vint+jewel+3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>This charm bracelet has a history to it. The charms are delicate and meaningful to the previous owner. A martini shaker, a chair, a bowling pin, random bits of someones life. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpXR-0S909dUFYaxuBwNg5kWoxqk2zip7wjpQQ8VsmZNYMmD8fKE7nardkwJa64fxhEWb9ofqLUsaWcjL7vMVjC6ObuL4ZNVSR1mln3RxCvhdDw7NtH2NxiZ5U5gGay1nOLxziGu3Ti2sp/s1600/vint+jewel+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpXR-0S909dUFYaxuBwNg5kWoxqk2zip7wjpQQ8VsmZNYMmD8fKE7nardkwJa64fxhEWb9ofqLUsaWcjL7vMVjC6ObuL4ZNVSR1mln3RxCvhdDw7NtH2NxiZ5U5gGay1nOLxziGu3Ti2sp/s320/vint+jewel+4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Did the gentleman that owned this tie clasp use it regularly or just for special occassions? Because of its petite size, did it belong to a woman?<br />

The Waiting For Santa Collection is,by far, the most beautiful papers around for the holidays. These wonderful papers are getting harder to find.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC3ZmbjA6H92_cJT1cB_LKPLTOln5DvLUK9vHBPgxjAQJjnKeLZSRPqDM_wdL_cvbYQP5OU9xfETBzpV50NWudUwhp1GLVjUas1gI6quKiHVAKlkuHiuCCPOeJRi5kb8Wg-ghzTQuqXQ1O/s1600/christmas+cones+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC3ZmbjA6H92_cJT1cB_LKPLTOln5DvLUK9vHBPgxjAQJjnKeLZSRPqDM_wdL_cvbYQP5OU9xfETBzpV50NWudUwhp1GLVjUas1gI6quKiHVAKlkuHiuCCPOeJRi5kb8Wg-ghzTQuqXQ1O/s320/christmas+cones+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>A client wanted 40 pieces for a Christmas party she is going to have, and so I got busy making loads of paper cones.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxZrsqKtbjWBuMGHGGTLcO0KkhRdJ79dWJfR_Z3AVH8aIYuEMzTGXzMBknDjUKEEYEXXH-IeNvBIxiPbSZHkxPdrXtv4jmmmU-z0ZrG44b2GuG2EYyAdzmoad9XrQhzE6otLHc_kJg5mFF/s1600/christmas+cones+7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxZrsqKtbjWBuMGHGGTLcO0KkhRdJ79dWJfR_Z3AVH8aIYuEMzTGXzMBknDjUKEEYEXXH-IeNvBIxiPbSZHkxPdrXtv4jmmmU-z0ZrG44b2GuG2EYyAdzmoad9XrQhzE6otLHc_kJg5mFF/s320/christmas+cones+7.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I used the 12 x 12" sheets which provided me larger images to work with when cutting these cones.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipiBEJMC3IZgqQ2a_QhM_VHatYOpdT6R72AAxrYq5ZGuXQ_GwMUTiO4OEWDR7-jzJO_FHzCGREDZKplV85vn-36Tp03PsVCHkwDtuDJW-XtNVUmNDbLqCiHMGuLE22qisNIm7WKiHMGSfb/s1600/christmas+cones+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipiBEJMC3IZgqQ2a_QhM_VHatYOpdT6R72AAxrYq5ZGuXQ_GwMUTiO4OEWDR7-jzJO_FHzCGREDZKplV85vn-36Tp03PsVCHkwDtuDJW-XtNVUmNDbLqCiHMGuLE22qisNIm7WKiHMGSfb/s320/christmas+cones+3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Also, the fact that the sheets are two-sided make the inside of each cone as pretty as the outside.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8fINaPuXwSpvhdcGJbtqE36WI2ZhEemAsqFfx2L1SqZEzZ9w4qcbIkPozVg7k5MnUazqiu2Cc93akgEhRa7muV3Cl6Mk7J3G201Fg3zM2YCK0CWKtAu6uhI800Dis0t1wH4T8cSTM8S9f/s1600/christmas+cones+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8fINaPuXwSpvhdcGJbtqE36WI2ZhEemAsqFfx2L1SqZEzZ9w4qcbIkPozVg7k5MnUazqiu2Cc93akgEhRa7muV3Cl6Mk7J3G201Fg3zM2YCK0CWKtAu6uhI800Dis0t1wH4T8cSTM8S9f/s320/christmas+cones+4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>The Waiting For Santa and Sweet Seasons paper collection include rich colors and fun images. Flowers, Sheet Music, Santa, Christmas Trees, and Holly mix together to create a delightful scene on each sheet.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMJsSZInTFOdGCVxioXP7Lac8Y_2fvVsu7mbV4Fx0q62DmYRoHCyC8hQPKtCCZfT-hKJ7mrK64RFuWWaVUE85kFS0wm4aGj91VDNTLBlfQOLdm2ddykcyy8gngKMxklZNaG6WkVU1k8mp-/s1600/christmas+cones+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMJsSZInTFOdGCVxioXP7Lac8Y_2fvVsu7mbV4Fx0q62DmYRoHCyC8hQPKtCCZfT-hKJ7mrK64RFuWWaVUE85kFS0wm4aGj91VDNTLBlfQOLdm2ddykcyy8gngKMxklZNaG6WkVU1k8mp-/s320/christmas+cones+5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Each paper cone is lightly edged with vintage photo distressing ink for added vintage style. I added a lovely 1/8" cranberry satin ribbon and Merry Christmas tag on each piece. The tags are hand-stamped with a vintage border in sepia ink and edge with distressing ink as well. <br />

Need to gather all these little beauties up and get ready to ship them off.<br />
